Foolish

@YODCHATRI: You can fool others. And you can even fool yourself. But you can't fool the truth.

Mm. Stole this from Chatri's twitter and this really got me thinking about the system of truth. It has been proven that if you tell yourself something over and over again, you'll eventually believe the light itself despite being fully aware it's a lie. But what's the point? Nothing changes, the truth stays the same and you end up with yourself just being stupid. You can never change what's true so why bother cheating yourself or those around you. I used to think that that was the way to make myself feel better: lie. Oh how silly am I to think that lying to myself could make things seem okay.

I'm never gonna cheat myself of the truth because if it's one thing I think I deserve, it's the golden truth. I have the right to know what's really going on because that's the only way you're gonna be able to change the situation. No more lies, Am. No more.
