Lesson of the day: You need to be patient when asking for patience.

As ironic as it may be, it is true. You can't expect these sorta life lessons to just happen over night and let you amount to a new person suddenly possessing qualities that you didn't have the previous day. 

You build character over time and in that time you have to wait. Whenever someone asks me what my biggest weakness is, I always respond with impatience. I've always tried to correct it and try to learn to be patient. Sadly, I've been impatient with trying to become more patient - i.e more enduring and foreberable. I've got to stop expecting that I'll just one day suddenly be more patient and realise that it is a process that  I will slowly go through. 

Similarly, I think I can apply this to my academic life. I keep praying and asking for good results without thinking that it actually is a process of keeping up to date with work and readings. Old habits die hard and I truly am still living in this naive world where I think that I'll be okay if I try to cram everything in. 

So. it's time to pick up the pace and start heading for our dreams. We can do this Am. Let's have the patience to achieve our goals. Step by step.
