So although the family was in a vulnerable state with tensions high amongst some members, we still decided to go as 4 to Phuket to spend some time together.
Left on the 12th for the JW Marriot where we were gonna spend 5 days with the Allen family who had a time share villa there. Expecting many fights and quarrels, I was surprised by the amount of love and laughter that manifested while we were there.
Not only that but omg the things we got to do and THE FOOD WE GOT TO EAT was amazing *heart eyes emoji x100*
Arrived and got to try this thing called butterfly juice? Scared Mei and me at first but it's actually quite sweet and the colour was so pretty ^.^ this was my attempt at a hipster shot - including the Polaroid I took of mama and I in front of their Christmas tree hehe.

Unfortunately dad had no experience kayaking and I volunteered to go with him so that Haley and little Richard could go on their own. BAD IDEA. Ended up capcising lol.
The hotel actually had a lot of activities for guests to try so mama wanted to learn how to make sticky rice and since it was raining that day, decided to tag along!!
Finish product actually tasted quite good. Heh.

The last night ^.^ Had a BBQ that was prepared in our kitchen for us by the hotel staff!!
Really super thankful that we got to go to Phuket. The two families got to bond within the families and across as well. Honestly, it was so nice to see my sister and Dad actually talking and laughing with one another. It may be very surface level but at least it's a step la.
Put on weight sia from all the good food but okay nvm mum already hired a personal trainer and I guess it's about time to do something!!
BUT SERIOUSLY LOVED PHUKET. Hahaha. To be fair though, BKK was just as good ^.^
Dad left cause of work but my aunt and grandfather came up to join us and it seriously was super awesome cause I hadn't spent a lot of time with them recently! Even if I saw my grandfather most nights it'd only be for an hour or two? and he always asks me to keep quiet cause he wants to watch his Channel 8 drama T.T so it was nice to talk to him more hehehe.
Shopped until I wanted to drop dead but so happy I got so many good buys!!! ^.^ hehehe. And spend time with people of course!

YAY FOR FAMILY HOLIDAYS. AND YAY FOR CHRISTMAS FINALLY BEING HERE.
